About Us
About Us
In April 2020, Momma Luv's Soul and Caribbean Food restaurant, faithfully opened their doors in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although it was a challenging atmosphere to open a new family owned restaurant, the San Antonio community support was nothing short of a blessing to their initial and continued success. Momma Luv's takes pride in serving the community love-infused food for the soul. It's a giant melting pot of flavors influencing mouth watering fried food options (wings, catfish, shrimp and salmon), but mostly known for the bold and spicy Caribbean dishes (oxtail, jerk, curry and stew). Don't forget the variety of delicious sides from which to choose as well. Excellent food is irrelevant if you can't pair it with impeccable customer service, which is one of Momma Luv's most prominent attributes. Expect to receive a warm welcome and friendly greeting. It is hoped that you can temporarily transport to the Caribbean islands and waters from the smooth Caribbean tunes playing in the background. Momma Luv's is here to humbly serve, show love to all, make you feel at home and satisfy your taste buds so we can see you again soon:-).
Momma Luv and her family were born and raised in Bronx, New York and migrated to San Antonio, Texas in 2011. Family roots go back to North Carolina and St. Thomas, creating the perfect mix of Soul and Caribbean.
